Jeffrey A. Maddox, P.E.
Jeffrey A. Maddox is a retired Founding Principal of The Fire Consultants Inc. and is a California registered fire protection engineer with over 30 years of experience in fire protection, building code consulting, and system design. He is registered as a Fire Protection Engineer in California and previously as a Professional Engineer in Oregon and Colorado. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Fire Protection Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park, 1986. He is a Fellow of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers. He is focused on the fire and life safety design of high rise buildings, with an emphasis on smoke control, occupant evacuation elevators, and egress. Jeff enjoys mountain biking, camping, and pickleball in his retirement.
