San Mateo County

Resource Team

The San Mateo County Spare the Air Resource Team is working to reduce traffic congestion and greenhouse gas production by promoting commute alternatives to solo driving through its Active Trips Incentive.

Trips to meetings and events are opportunities to share a ride, take transit, bike, or walk – anything but driving alone!  The Active Trips Incentive is a fun and easy way to encourage people to Spare the Air by using alternatives to driving alone to any event or meeting.

The Resource Team is looking for “promoters” – people who organize or promote meetings and events that take place within San Mateo County. Promoters let their attendees know that they can be entered into a drawing to win prizes, provided by the San Mateo County Spare the Air Resource Team, just for taking an active trip to the meeting or event. If you would like to promote the Active Trips Incentive at your meeting or event, view the Active Trips Promoter Guide to see how to get started!
